When you think back to you childhood memories what do you think of? Is it the fireflies during summer, playing outdoors until dark, or your favorite ice cream treat on special occasions? Maybe it’s the holidays and yearly celebrations that you’ve grown used to and now look forward to as an adult? Did you spend these days with your siblings, or possibly your cousins, aunts and uncles? I think most people do, and you are very lucky if you have snapshots of these times in your life.
It brings me to this incredible family. They started as siblings, then two girls grew up and had children of their own. Now they have brought together their two families to share life, all of its ups and downs, craziness and peaceful days, laughter and love. Now their kids are the closest of cousins and they get to grow up together as friends.
On this gorgeous day, the kids took some time to blow bubbles, roll in the grass, tickle until you can’t laugh anymore, and enjoy the simple things. Sawyer (4) is such a sweet kid, and he has a new little sister, Malin (8 mos), whom he can’t help but love to pieces. Just look at her cute, squeezable cheeks!
Peter had the joy of documenting these memories for them. There were so many fun moments, lots of ball play, quality time with Daddy, and time to chill while getting some relaxed family shots. Mother’s Day was part of the inspiration, and getting some recent photos of the kids playing together and of the family interaction. Peter had been there to photograph Malin after she was born, so it was an honor to spend more time with them and to witness the whole family in all of their togetherness!
Don’t you just love how carefree and happy these kids are?! It was a great play date… but with a camera or two in hand! And brothers, Justin (6) and Mason (15 mos) did not disappoint, they were nothing but themselves. Two boys laughing, playing and enjoying the day!! Life is wonderful when you are a kid!
These are the days when you just want to take a moment to breathe the air in, take in your surroundings, and be thankful for what you have (your family & friends, good health), or in our case… what we do.
Peter wanted to freeze this moment in time for them, to capture it in all of its essence.
Kiss. Giggle. Hug. Touch. Run. Jump. Childhood is calling…
In life, there are people that shape who you are and who help you to grow and truly enjoy each day. They are your parents, your siblings, your cousins, your friends… your FAMILY.
What an amazing day to spend with this incredible family. Thank you for the opportunity to preserve your history in a beautiful and artistic way!

Comments OffThe Morgan family is now a party of 6! That’s right, Jen and Jason welcomed twin girls into their family 8 months ago. The twins were born early, so understandably both parents have had their hands full and have been working hard to make sure their littlest ones thrive. Now that they are coming up for air (finally!), they wanted to share with the world their beautiful girls! So without further ado, meet: Sophie (4 yrs, back/left), Maddie (3 yrs, back/right), Paige (8 mos, front left) and Claire (8 mos, front/right).
Don’t you just love the expressions on their faces, like “what is going on here?…and “you expect us to sit here for how long? – ha”! Every parent dreams of their children all smiling at the camera and/or behaving…and the truth is you just never know what is going to happen with kids! You take what you can get and you do a little dance, or maybe you sing a favorite song and give your funniest faces and you hope for the best!
This one on the bed is an example of how funny and unpredictable kids are! Now that you’ve had some time to look over all four of them, we wanted to share the big sisters with you so you could see their personalities shine through a little more. They grow and change so fast!
With Sophie, you just know that 4 year old fun is on the way! She’s got a plan and some mischief to make! Now Maddie on the other hand, you just can’t help but notice how she goes with the flow and wants to make everyone happy. She is carefree, full of energy and smiles! Next you’ll find the twins together, and Paige is on the left and Claire is on the right in each of these.
Ok, we are almost ready to show you some individual shots of the twins…do you think you can tell them apart yet? We happen to think that Claire resembles big sis, Maddie… and Paige resembles the oldest sis, Sophie. Leave a comment and tell us what you think!
And now, for the real test… whose smile do you think this is? (Pictured in the white + green dress is Claire.)
And whose silly face is this? (Pictured in the white + pink dress is Paige.)

We hope you’ve had fun getting to know the girls, and we can’t wait to see them as they grow and hear all about their adventures with their big sisters! Jen and Jason, we wish you many sleep filled nights ahead! Congrats on your beautiful family of girls!
